The doors supplied by Hawk are hollow. If this does not get filled in some way I am told it can sound very noisy when on the road. So I decided as others have done to fill the doors with expanding foam. This can be a messy job as the foam is moisture cure so if you get it on your skin it can be nasty, so wear the gloves provided!
I first taped off the doors to protect the get coat from wayward foam. It took a couple of applications to fill the whole door.
I plan to have a aluminium skin to cover this – more of that much later I suspect!

Door preparation
Foam added and allowed to expand.

Halfway there in first attempt
I then added another quantity to fill the remaining void.

Full!
I probably over did it somewhat!! But that is easy to do as unrestrained it does expand well! Only then had to trim off once dry.
