In truth I was in two minds about the heat shields and the final result shows it! Initially I was going to fully line both foot boxes as I have seen in Jon Towers build. Having completed the near side i didn’t like the result as much as i had hoped! I decided not to remove it but limited the drivers side to just a heat shield. Not ideal and may be something I will revisit at some stage, right now it is what it is.
