Whilst I had the gearbox out to fit the new actuator I ground down the rear flange to provide increased clearance with the chassis. I had made an attempt to do this with the gearbox in position, but it was nasty! So with it out I was able to make a much better job of this. Thanks go to Clive for reminding me that it was wise to remove this to prevent some large worrying banging once the car is on the road!

Final result, nice a smooth with no access problems!
