The original AC Cobras all had white foot boxes….I took a while to decide what I would do in preparation of the engine bay. Should i paint the foot boxes, should I line in Aluminium ?

In the end the decision was to paint the foot boxes and the wheel arches, white and aluminium!

As delivered in the kit – black gel coat!

After the first coat of Halfords plastic white primer!

6 coats of primer and 2 coats of lac later!
