It was time to start finishing some other jobs including the boot fixing. I took time to measure the holes to drill then remeasure before committing to the drill!

Boot handle

I gradually opened the hole offering up the handle frequently to ensure the fit was good. I am glad to say it does not have to be totally symmetrical as you can see in the photo!
